If an app no longer works properly on your Xiaomi smartphone, or if you get error messages, it may help to clear the cache of each app by deleting temporarily stored files that may have overlaid each other and caused functional limitations.

Android 10 (MIUI 12.0)
Step 1: Open the Settings
Step 2: Tap on Apps
Step 3: Tap on Manage apps
Step 4: Choose an app
Step 5: Tap on Clear data
Step 6: Tap on  Clear cache
