Xiaomi How to Make, Answer & Reject Phone Calls

Power button ends call
After activating this function on the Xiaomi smartphone, we can end calls by pressing the power button.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Physical
- Enable or disable Power button ends call
Flip to silence incoming calls
If this feature is enabled on the Xiaomi smartphone, simply flip the device when incoming call to mute the ringtone, turn off the vibration and stop the notification light.
Note: The caller is not rejected or forwarded to the mailbox.
- Open the Phone app
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Incoming call settings
- Enable or disable Flip to silence ringer
Make a phone call
We can easily make calls via the Xiaomi smartphone's clearly laid out phone app.
After entering the phone number, the virtual call button can already be tapped. If we use dual SIM on the device, the call button is split to select the SIM card from which we want to dial.
- Open the Phone app
- Tap on Contacts or enter a phone number
- Tap on the dial button of the respective SIM card
Dismiss incoming call
If we receive a call at an inconvenient moment, we can simply reject or dismiss it by swiping the red decline icon on the Xiaomi smartphone screen.
- Tap and hold the red phone icon
- Drag the red phone icon upwards
- Release the red phone icon to reject the call
Answer incoming call
Incoming calls are answered on the Xiaomi smartphone by swiping the green phone icon upwards.
- Tap and hold the green phone icon
- Drag the green phone icon upwards
- Release the green phone icon to answer the call
