Xiaomi How to Manage Contacts

The functions of the Contacts app on the Xiaomi device are simplified and adequately described.
Contacts can be exported as a VCF file to the SIM card or phone memory / internal storage.
From there, the exported contacts can be sent to other devices.
Also, the function only allows exporting all contacts. To export selected contacts, the Xiaomi smartphone's Share function must be used.

On the Xiaomi smartphone, we can import contacts from a variety of sources, including VCF files, the SIM card, or other accounts, and we can choose to store them on the phone memory, Mi account, or Google Account.

Sometimes stored contacts on the Xiaomi device appear twice when they are stored by different apps, and this feature allows us to clean up our address book to link or merge duplicate contacts and keep space or order.

From time to time, you may find yourself in situations where you need or want to share one or more contacts. This is best done directly from your Xiaomi smartphone via message or email to avoid possible typing errors.
Depending on your Xiaomi device model and system, contacts can also be shared using QR Code, where the smartphone creates a QR Code that can be read or scanned by another device.

Note: In this tutorial we will share a contact as a file via messages, but there are also other options, such as sharing via WhatsApp or Gmail.

We can share our saved contacts as a file, text or QR code, the easiest way to do this is through the Messaging app, with other options available such as Messenger or WhatsApp.
