Xiaomi How to Manage SMS-Conversation

In some situations, a message (SMS/MMS) needs to be copied because you need the information it contains elsewhere. This is done in a flash on your Xiaomi smartphone.
Note: To paste the copied text elsewhere, tap and hold a free space in the desired text line. The pop-up that appears shows all available options.

We can easily delete an entire conversation/entertainment without having to mark or remove every single message on our Xiaomi smartphone.

Note: Deleted conversations cannot be restored.

In addition to deleting the entire conversation, you can also delete a single SMS/message from the Xiaomi smartphone, simply by tapping and holding it, you can select and remove the desired message.

Note: The message will only be deleted on your own device; the message will remain on the recipient/sender's device.

If we still have old SMS messages, for example from our loved ones, stored on the SIM card, they are not lost; we can retrieve and display them in the Xiaomi device's menu.

Note: There are no such messages in this guide, it only leads to the SIM card storage.

We can mark all messages from one or more conversations on the Xiaomi smartphone as read, tapping and holding a conversation, selecting several if desired, and tapping Mark as read.

If we want to keep track of a saved chat conversation on the Xiaomi smartphone, we can pin it.
The selected conversation gets pinned at first position, whether it contains new messages or not.

Note: If several conversations are pinned, they will be arranged in order and can be unpinned following the same procedure.
