Magnification
On the Xiaomi smartphone, we can activate a magnification that works like a screen magnifier. We can choose how we want to enlarge the screen content. Either we activate the "Tap three times to zoom in" function, or we add the function of the button or navigation bar. Both functions can also be combined.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Vision
- Tap on Magnification
- Choose Magnify with triple-tap or Magnify with shortcut
- Enable or disable Accessibility
Animation
As we navigate through the menu with the Xiaomi device, we often see menu options with effects fading in and out, or apps fading in animatedly, but to improve the performance of the Xiaomi
smartphone, we can disable these animations.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Vision
- Enable or disable Remove animations
Color inversion
When we enable Color inversion on the Xiaomi smartphone, all colors are inverted, which means that a white background with black text becomes a black background with white text. Media such as pictures or videos are also affected by color reversal and may be displayed incorrectly.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Vision
- Enable or disable Color inversion
Large Mouse Pointer
If we connect accessories or a USB mouse to the Xiaomi smartphone, we can use this function to enlarge the mouse pointer on the display, which is ideal for people with visual impairments.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Physical
- Enable or disable Large mouse pointer
Color correction
On the Xiaomi smartphone, we can activate color correction, which can be very beneficial for people with visual impairments. In this mode, all displayed colors are adjusted to the personal settings. The default correction modes are as follows:
- Deuterine anomaly (red-green vision loss)
- Protanomaly (red-green visual impairment)
- Tritanomaly (blue-yellow visual impairment)

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Vision
- Tap on Color correction
- Enable or disable Accessibility
- Tap on Correction mode
- Choose Deuteranomaly, Protanomaly or Tritanomaly
High Contrast Text
To improve readability, we can activate the "High Contrast Text" feature on the Xiaomi smartphone, which displays text with a thicker black border to make it easier to read.
Note: This feature can be found under the menu item/section "Experimental", which indicates that it may not be fully developed and probably does not work properly or is adapted to the entire Android system.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Vision
- Enable or disable High contrast text
