Vibration in Silent Mode

If the Xiaomi smartphone is set to "Silent", it will vibrate by default when incoming calls or messages are received, but if you want to additionally deactivate this vibration and make the device completely "mute", you'll find the solution in the settings.

Android 10 (MIUI 12.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Sound & vibration
Step 3:  Enable or disable  Vibrate in silent mode

Vibration for Calls

We can (de)activate the vibration on the Xiaomi smartphone for incoming calls, but deactivation is recommended if the device is within earshot and not in your pocket, for example.

Vibration on Tap

We can completely disable the vibration when touching elements on the display of the Xiaomi smartphone, or set it in three different levels, choosing the intensity of "Light", "Medium", or "Strong". By default
, the medium level is set. This setting also includes the vibration of the navigation keys.

Keyboard Vibration

When this feature is enabled on the Xiaomi smartphone, we get a brief tactile feedback for each letter we type on the on-screen keyboard. We can adjust the level of vibration separately.

Note: In this guide, we will activate the vibration when the button is pressed and set the level of vibration, the steps above are for illustrative purposes only.
