Hold shutter release for... Camera timer

Hold shutter release for...

When we hold the virtual shutter release of the camera app on the OnePlus smartphone, a video recording is started by default, providing quick access without having to change camera mode first.

Alternatively, we can specify that when the camera shutter release is held down, a series or burst of photos will be taken to take a perfect snapshot of moving subjects.

Step 1:  Open the  Camera app
Step 2:  Open the  Settings
Step 3:  Tap on  Long press shutter
Step 4:  Choose  Record video  or  Take burst photos

  3. Tap on Long press shutter
  4. Choose Record video or Take burst photos

Camera timer

After starting the camera app on the OnePlus smartphone, a timer or countdown for a self-timer can be set directly in the upper area, for example to capture a family photo in its entirety.
In addition to deactivating the function, we can choose between the following options:

  • 3 seconds
  • 5 seconds
  • 10 seconds

Step 1:  Open the  Camera app
Step 2:  Tap on  Timer
Step 3:  Choose  3s / 5s / 10s  or  Off  to disable the timer
