Navigation button order
If control via the navigation bar is set on the OnePlus smartphone, we can swap or mirror the order of the buttons.
By default, the Back button is on the left side of the navigation bar and the Recent Apps button is on the right side.
If we want to mirror the keys, we simply enable the function Swap buttons in the navigation bar customization.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Buttons & gestures
- Tap on Navigation bar & gestures
- Tap on Navigation bar customization
- Enable or disable Swap buttons
Gesture/Button control for navigation bar
We can choose navigation on the OnePlus smartphone between the familiar button or gesture controls.
With gesture control, the navigation bar with its buttons has disappeared to take advantage of the largest possible display area on the device.
When navigating using the key control, the familiar navigation bar with the Back, Home and Recent buttons is displayed in the lower part of the screen.
If the navigation gestures are selected or defined, we find an explanation of the controls in the lower area.
Furthermore, the lower bar, which is responsible for changing apps, can be deactivated at any time.
Explanation of the full screen gestures:
Back: Wipefrom the left or right edge of the screen to the center.
Start/Home: Wipe from the bottom edge of the screen to the top.
Last Apps: Wipe from the bottom of the screen to the top and hold.
Switch between apps: Wipe left or right from the bottom of the screen.
Note: In landscape mode, the navigation gestures can still be performed from the bottom of the screen.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Buttons & gestures
- Tap on Navigation bar & gestures
- Choose Back, Home, Recents or Navigation gestures
