Hello Steve02. do you see a notification at status bar? have you already tested if the SIM card works in another smartphone? to avoid possible problems with the Blackview, it would also be helpful to insert another SIM card.

it works in other phones and it seemed to detect it in the blackview for maybe a moment but then disappeared
