The OnePlus smartphone comes with a feature to share data or files, such as photos or videos, with nearby devices.

Please note that the Nearby Share function requires Bluetooth and GPS positioning to be enabled, and that a Wi-Fi hotspot may be temporarily established during file transfers.

In order to maintain the security of the OnePlus device, we can independently choose whether our device is visible to all or only selected contacts.

In addition to the device visibility, we can determine whether content should also be loaded via the mobile data or only via a WLAN connection in order to conserve the data volume.

Note: Nearby Share can also be (de)activated at any time via the quick settings of the status performance, if the symbol was added via the edit button.
