OnePlus How to change USB connection type

If we have established a USB connection on the OnePlus smartphone with, for example, a PC or laptop, we can select the USB connection type, as otherwise the device will only be charged by default.

So if we connect the OnePlus device to a PC, the file transfer/exchange must be activated, otherwise the folders on the PC will remain empty and copying of photos or videos will not be possible.

The purpose of the active USB connection can be selected in the connection settings and via a pop-up window in the notification bar.

Note: In this guide we will change the USB connection to file transfer in the general settings of the smartphone.
For the faster option please open the notification bar and tap on the hint of the Android system.
