Delete contact group

Groups of contacts can be deleted directly in the Contacts app of the Oppo smartphone, group members are excluded from the deletion process.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  My Groups
Step 4:  Open the  Menu
Step 5:  Tap on  Edit
Step 6:  Select all  Contact Groups  you want
Step 7:  Tap on  Delete
Step 8:  Confirm with  Delete X Groups
  1. Open the Contacts-App
  2. Open the Menu
  3. Tap on My Groups
  4. Open the Menu
  5. Tap on Edit
  6. Select all Contact Groups you want
  7. Tap on Delete
  8. Confirm with Delete X Groups

Create contact group

In addition to predefined groups, you can also create your own groups for contacts by selecting which account to create the group in.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  My Groups
Step 4:  Tap on  Add
Step 5:  Select an desired  Account
Step 6:  Enter a  Group Name  and tap on  Save
Step 7:  Select desired  Members
Step 8:  Tap on  Add
  1. Open the Contacts-App
  2. Open the Menu
  3. Tap on My Groups
  4. Tap on Add
  5. Select an desired Account
  6. Enter a Group Name and tap on Save
  7. Select desired Members
  8. Tap on Add

Rename Contact Group

The name of the group can be renamed at any time on the Oppo smartphone.

Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  My Groups
Step 4:  Tap on  Group  you want
Step 5:  Open the  Menu
Step 6:  Tap on  Rename
Step 7:  Enter a  Name  and confirm with  Save

  5. Open the Menu
  6. Tap on Rename
  7. Enter a Name and confirm with Save

Add members to group

Even after you create a group, you can still add contacts afterwards.

Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  My Groups
Step 4:  Tap on  Group  you want
Step 5:  Tap on  Add
Step 6:  Select all  Contacts  you want
Step 7:  Tap on  Add

  3. Tap on My Groups
  4. Tap on Group you want
  5. Tap on Add
  6. Select all Contacts you want
  7. Tap on Add

Remove Member

Members can remove from the contact group either via the contact itself or via the group's edit mode, the latter being faster and easier if you want to remove multiple contacts at once.

Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  My Groups
Step 4:  Tap on  Group  you want
Step 5:  Open the  Menu
Step 6:  Tap on  Edit
Step 7:  Select all  Contacts  you want
Step 8:  Tap on  Remove
Step 9:  Confirm with  Remove Member

  3. Tap on My Groups
  4. Tap on Group you want
  5. Open the Menu
  6. Tap on Edit
  7. Select all Contacts you want
  8. Tap on Remove
  9. Confirm with Remove Member

Custom ringtone for each group

On the Oppo smartphone, you can change the ringtone in general, but also for individual contacts and contact groups, and you can use the default tones or your own ringtone for the group.

Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  My Groups
Step 4:  Tap on  Group  you want
Step 5:  Open the  Menu
Step 6:  Tap on  Ringtone
Step 7:  Choose desired  Ringtone
