Touch and hold delay

"Touch and hold" is an important gesture on the Oppo smartphone, and the response time indicates how long it takes to press and hold for the system to recognize this as "touch and hold".

Under ColorOS the reaction time can be changed between short, medium and long.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Additional settings
Step 3:  Tap on  Accessibility
Step 4:  Tap on  Touch & hold delay
Step 5:  Choose between  Short,   Medium  and  Long

Assistant menu

the assistant menu makes it easier for older people to use the system. when this menu is activated, a shortcut for the menu appears in the navigation bar. the assistant menu contains app shortcuts and frequently used functions.

Step 3:  Tap on  Accessibility
Step 4:  Tap on  Accessibility Menu
Step 5:  Enable or Disable  Accessibility Menu
Step 6:  Confirm with  OK

Volume key shortcut to start accessibility feature

If a function of the user assistance on the Oppo smartphone is frequently used, a key combination can be activated on the volume keys to directly activate or deactivate the function by pressing the volume down and volume up keys simultaneously for 3 seconds, if activated.

The following operating aids can be used:

  • Color reversal
  • Color Correction
  • TalkBack
  • Menu for operating aids
  • Read out
  • Switch access

Click when pointer stops

If an external mouse is used on the Oppo Smartphone, the function "Click when pointer stops" can be activated, and after the mouse has not been used for a short time, a click is played to signal this.
