Oppo How to Manage SMS-Conversations

If you wish, you can mute a single SMS conversation on the Oppo smartphone. We will then no longer receive any notification of new SMS messages. The mute can be unmuted in the same way as it is activated.

Copy and paste is yesterday! The contents of SMS messages can be quickly and easily copied to the clipboard by tapping and holding the message.

Frequently used conversations can be pinned to the top of the messages app. By default, the SMS conversation with the latest message is always displayed first. When a conversation is pinned, it always stays first, regardless of the last SMS message written/received.

On the Oppo-Smartphone you can delete single or multiple SMS messages, and by tapping and holding a message a pop-up window opens where you can start the deletion process.

Deleting multiple messages from a conversation is a bit cumbersome. After tapping and holding a message, you have to select "More" in the pop-up window. This opens the edit mode for the whole chat. By selecting multiple messages you can delete several messages at once.

SMS messages used to be easy to store on the SIM card, but with the latest smartphones this is usually not possible. However, in the settings you can still retrieve messages stored on the SIM card.

If we want to delete an entire SMS conversation, we don't have to remove every single message, just tap and hold to quickly and easily delete the SMS conversation.
