NFC is a transmission standard that allows us to exchange data wirelessly. An Oppo smartphone with NFC can, for example, read an NFC tag and start functions on the device. In addition, services such as Google Pay allow the Oppo smartphone to be used to pay in the same way as a bank card in a local store.

NFC should be deactivated for security reasons unless it is used frequently. On almost all Oppo devices that have an NFC chip, the function can be switched on or off.

Note: NFC can also be enabled or disabled using the quick settings.
