Even though SMS messages are increasingly being pushed back by Internet messengers, they are still an important part of smartphones, and this guide shows how to send an SMS message on Oppo smartphone.
Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
- Open the Messages-App
- Tap on exist Conversation or start a new Conversation
- Enter a Phone number or Contact
- Tap on Message
- Enter a Message and tap on Send
Send MMS message
MMS messages are sent in a similar way to an SMS message: as soon as a multimedia file (photo, video, contact (vCard), etc.) is attached to the SMS message, it is automatically converted into an MMS on the Oppo smartphone.

- Open the Messages-App
- Open Conversation you want
- Tap on Add
- Choose desired File type
- Tap on Photos
- Select an Album
- Select Photo you want
- Tap on Send
Forward message
SMS messages can be forwarded on the Oppo smartphone but can also be shared with other apps.

- Open Conversation you want
- Tap and hold SMS you want
- Tap on More
- Tap on Forward
- Enter Contact/Phone number and tap on Send
