Turn On/Off Mobile Data
Mobile data can be enabled or disabled on the realme smartphone in general at any time. This is done either in the SIM card settings or via the quick settings in the status bar.
After deactivation, all data connections are disconnected from apps, which means that no access to online services is possible.
For example, no messages from messenger services, such as WhatsApp, are loaded.
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Enable or disable Mobile Data
Use Mobile Data during Calls on Secondary SIM
When using Dual SIM, the realme smartphone can provide or maintain an Internet connection during a call, using the mobile data of the second SIM card.
If desired and for personal cost control, the feature can be enabled or disabled at any time.
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Enable or disable Use Internet during calls on secondary data SIM
Turn On/Off Data Roaming
For example, if we are in a foreign country and want to use a mobile data connection to browse the Internet or use messenger services, we first have to enable data roaming on the realme smartphone.
Depending on the provider, additional APN settings have to be defined or configured.
Note: Using roaming can lead to increased costs, which is why we recommend asking your mobile provider about prices and services beforehand.
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM)
- Enable or disable Data roaming
- Tap on Turn on
