Add a Widget
Widgets are mini-applications or services that can be added to the home screen of the realme smartphone to show us different information.
Popular Widget categories are, for example, stock, navigation or weather widgets.
The Widgets differ in size, form and function, since app widgets are available in addition to the preinstalled widgets as soon as a corresponding app, such as WhatsApp or Netflix, is installed.
- Tap and hold a Free area on the Home screen
- Tap on Widgets
- Choose a Widget
- To exit, tap on a Free area
Resize a Widget
Widgets require sufficient space on the home screen of the realme smartphone and can vary in size.
The size of a widget can be adjusted at any time if the option is supported, keeping in mind that each widget has a minimum size.
- Tap and hold a Widget
- Drag the Borders to resize the Widget
- Tap on a Free area to exit
Move a Widget
The added widgets can be positioned almost freely on the home screen of the realme smartphone, keeping in mind that each widget has a minimum size.
If the initial positioning of a widget does not quite meet our desire, the widget can be moved at any time to completely customize the home screen with its app icons and folders.
- Tap and hold a Widget
- Drag the Widget to the desired position
- Release the Widget to position it
- Tap on a Free area to exit
Remove a Widget
If desired, the added widgets can also be removed from the home screen of the realme smartphone if we do not like the offered features or services, or if the battery consumption has increased because the data is always updated in the background.
Note: Removed widgets remain installed on the device and can be added again at any time.
