Battery saver
When using Battery saver mode, background activities such as downloading or checking e-mail are temporarily reduced until the Xiaomi device can be recharged.
Note: We can also (de)activate the energy-saving mode via the Quick Launch bar or Quick Settings.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Battery & performance
- Enable or disable Battery saver
App battery saver
We can set up an individual power plan for each app on the Xiaomi smartphone. When power saving mode is enabled, the app is handled according to the selected plan. The following power saving options can be enabled:
- No restrictions: Power saving does not restrict app activities.
- Power-saving mode (recommended): Identify apps and activities to run important processes.
- Restrict background applications: Some features (such as push notifications) may be affected, but apps will not be closed.
- Restrict background activity: Apps are closed to save power.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Battery & performance
- Tap on App battery saver
- Choose an app
- Choose No restrictions, Battery saver (recommended), Restrict background apps or Restrict background activity
Auto Turn Off
If the Xiaomi smartphone's power-saving mode is activated while the device is charging, we can specify in advance whether power-saving should be automatically deactivated after reaching at least 60% charging capacity.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Battery & performance
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Battery saver
- Enable or disable Turn off when charged
Schedule Battery saver
The Xiaomi smartphone can also be scheduled to go into battery saver mode. For example, the battery saver can be activated automatically overnight when we're not using the phone. At the set time, the saving mode turns off again.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Battery & performance
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Battery saver
- Enable Schedule time to switch between modes
- Tap on Start / End to set the time
