In December 24 2018 I bought the Global Version Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Snapdragon 636 64GB 6.26 inch Notch Full Screen 20MP Front Camera Cellphone

Standard, Black 64GB. Recently I noticed that the battery did not hold the charge as it used to be. I had to charge it twice a day and I do not use the mobile very much. Then I noticed that the back of the phone was coming apart. See photos attached. This phone is not yet three years old and I think normally a phone last a little bit longer.

Can you please tell me what is worng with this mobile? Is it the battery? Please help me to solve this problem. I like my phone and would like to keep it.

Thank you and regards

Hi KbiMar525478!

The battery wears out due to use, depending on how often it was charged, whether it was always charged to 100% or whether it was always charged overnight. It could happen with a device that is almost 4 years old that the battery no longer lasts long and sometimes has to be charged several times a day.

Since you can only install a battery manager on the software side to check or apply various functions to save energy, we recommend contacting Xiaomi directly and describing the problem.

Best regard,
Denny
