Xiaomi Redmi 9A Data usage when data is off.

Wilson My Redmi 9A uses data even when switched off and when the data is used up, it uses my airtime even if data is off. Kindly assist.

I think this is a system error.
Have you already tried resetting the network settings?
You can also check if some apps are allowed to access the mobile data in any case. (Background data)

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connection & sharing
- Tap on Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
- Tap on Reset settings and follow the instructions on screen

- Choose the app you want
- Activate or deactivate Mobile data and/or Wi-Fi
