Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro sudden lose of notifications

Jip63 ever since the miui 12 update my redmi note 8 pro will all of a sudden stop giving me any notifications, including sound, vibration & notification led, they will all be working fine & then will just all stop, this is now driving me mad, can anyone please help ? thanks

Have you already checked the settings of the notifications?
Also I have to ask if DND is enabled?
If not, resetting the app settings might help, so follow these steps:

- Tap on Manage Apps
- Open the menu
- Tap on Reset app preferences
- Tap on Reset apps
