Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro USB connection to PC

With MIUI 11, USB debugging setting was available
Now, with MIUI 12, I cannot find this option anywhere ... Where is it?
I also found what would be an updated (Windows 10) USB driver for the Note 9 Pro, but it does not work
So, connecting my MI Max 2 (running MIUI 11) or my Note 9 Pro (running MIUI 12) so far not possible

Hi voups.
USB debugging is definitely present on MIUI 12, as I just checked on our phone.
Is it just a matter of connecting to the PC?

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Developer options
- Enable or disable USB debugging
- Tap on Accept
