Dark mode

Many users would like to have a dark layout for system navigation on the Xiaomi smartphone, especially in low light conditions. Dark Mode is supposed to be more eye-friendly and save battery power. In addition, we can set a schedule to let Dark Mode start automatically.

Note: Dark Mode can also be activated via the quick start bar.

Android 10 (MIUI 12.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Display
Step 3:  Tap on  Dark mode
Step 4:  Enable or disable  Dark mode

Schedule Dark mode

If the dark mode has been activated on the Xiaomi smartphone, we can use it according to a defined schedule, whereby the dark mode is started or ended at the time you set.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Display
Step 3:  Tap on  Dark mode
Step 4:  Enable or disable  Schedule
Step 5:  Tap on  Turn on / off  to set the beginning and the end

Dark mode in Mi Browser

When we surf the Internet with our Xiaomi smartphone in the evening, we can activate the night mode if desired, which changes light colors from various websites and browser menu functions to dark color themes to make it easier to use and make surfing more eye-friendly.

Step 3:  Enable or disable  Dark mode
