Doro 7030 Please add SMS over Wifi support to Doro phones
My parents absolutely love your phones and I've bought them 6 phones in all over the last 10 years! However with Vodafone switching off their femto-cell, they need to switch to VoWifi indoors and your phones like the Doro 7030 which support WoWifi don't apparently support SMS via VoWifi. SMS is now vital for verifying Id on phone banking & some government services.Please please please add this small but important feature so I can buy them new Doro phones!

Have you ever contacted Vodafone directly? They should actually offer you alternatives.

I spoke to Vodafone and they are discontinuing in-home picocells/femtocells as part of their 3G switch off plans and they're not going to offer a 4G alternative as they believe that VoWifi & SMSoWifi is better solution. They did try to propose Apple, Samsung and other phones that support SMSoWifi but I don't believe my parents could operate such a complex device so I really hoping that you'd have plans for this key missing feature. They did mention that they'd heard my concern over lack of SMSoWifi support from other customers too and were asking all their suppliers (including Doro) to add it but suggested that some direct customer feedback might help!
