To enhance the protection of data on the LG smartphone memory card, the card can be encrypted. Once the process is complete, the memory card can only be used in the device that encrypted it, and other devices cannot read the memory card until it is decrypted.

Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Tap on General
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Tap on Lock screen & security
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Tap on Encryption & credentials
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Tap on Encrypt SD card
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Tap on Continue
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Choose between New data encryption and Full encryption
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Tap on Encrypt now
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Enter Password / PIN / Pattern
Encrypt or decypt SD Card - Confirm with Encrypt now

  7. Choose between New data encryption and Full encryption
  8. Tap on Encrypt now
  9. Enter Password/PIN/Pattern
  10. Confirm with Encrypt now
