In order to unlock the LG device using fingerprint or to use other verification functions, a fingerprint must be added to the system. Any number of fingerprints can be added to the LG device, even from different people.

Fingerprint Setup - Open the Settings
Fingerprint Setup - Tap on General
Fingerprint Setup - Tap on Lock screen & security
Fingerprint Setup - Tap on Fingerprints
Fingerprint Setup - Tap on Next
Fingerprint Setup - Enter Password / PIN / Pattern
Fingerprint Setup - Touch the fingerprint sensor with your desired finger
Fingerprint Setup - Confirm with OK

  3. Tap on Lock screen & security
  4. Tap on Fingerprints
  5. Tap on Next
  6. Enter Password/PIN/Pattern
  7. Touch the fingerprint sensor with your desired finger
  8. Confirm with OK
