If apps are opened on the LG device, a lock/hide icon is displayed on the left edge of the control bar, if not hidden. By tapping this icon twice, the control bar (navigation bar) for the open app can be shown or hidden. The selected setting is saved, so the control bar is shown or hidden the next time it is opened.
