Change Data Usage Limit

depending on the samsung model, a different data limit is set by default. if the selected data limit (data limit) is reached, the mobile data is automatically deactivated. when the billing cycle is over, the mobile internet is automatically switched back on. this guide shows how to change the data limit.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Connections
Step 3:  Tap on  Data usage
Step 4:  Tap on  Billing cycle and data warning
Step 5:  Tap on  Data limit
Step 6:  Change  Data limit  and tap on  Set

Data Usage Limit

If the Data Usage Limit on the Samsung device is reached, the data limit switches off the mobile data for the billing cycle, and the mobile data is reactivated in the new cycle (by default the 1st of the month).

Note: The calculation of the data volume on the Samsung device may differ from that of the mobile phone provider, so it is advisable to set the data limit slightly lower than the actual data volume.

Billing Cycle Date

By default, the billing cycle for mobile data use is reset on the 1st of the month. If the operator uses a different day for billing mobile data, this can be adjusted in the settings of the Samsung device. At the time of the set date, the data count is reset to 0.

Data warning

By default, the data warning is turned on on Samsung devices and warns when 2 GB data volume is reached, and can be turned on and off in the data usage settings.

Change Warning limit

Samsung users have the option of setting a warning limit for mobile data in the settings. the data warning makes sense if there is a limited data volume. in contrast to the data limit, this function only warns the user when the limit is exceeded and does not immediately switch off the mobile data.
