In order for a backup to be created by Google, a backup account must be added, and in addition to the existing Google Account, which should usually be available, any other Google Account can be selected.

- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Accounts and backup
- Tap on Back up data
- Tap on Account
- Choose a Backup account
