Depending on the default settings of the mobile network operator, a PIN is requested for the SIM card. The request for the SIM PIN can be deactivated in the settings or offers the possibility to change the PIN of the SIM card. To change the PIN, the PIN that is still current is required.

Step 1: Tap on  Settings
Step 2: Tap on  Biometrics and security
Step 3: Tap on  Other security settings
Step 4: Tap on  Set up SIM card lock
Step 5: Choose a  SIM card   (Dual SIM)
Step 6: Tap on  Change SIM card PIN
Step 7: Enter the  current PIN  and tap  OK
Step 8: Enter the  new PIN  and tap  OK
Step 9: Enter the  new PIN again  and tap  OK
