Alternative characters

special characters such as the question mark, exclamation mark, plus, multiply, euro and many other characters can be accessed on the Samsung keyboard via the shift key. this makes the letters disappear and the special characters are displayed on the keyboard. another possibility would be to activate the "alternative characters" function. this way, just like with the numerical series, the special characters are placed on one letter second. by tapping and holding the respective letter, the special character can then also be selected.

Number Keys

By default, the Samsung keyboard displays a row of numbers with each number (0-9). Alternatively, the row of numbers can be turned off, which integrates the numbers into the first row of letters. Numbers can then be selected by tapping and holding the letter in question and a pop-up window appears.

Keyboard Theme

By default, the Samsung keyboard is set to a light design, but if you wish, you can also activate a dark design, which means that the keyboard is predominantly changed to dark colours. Alternatively, you can also activate the "Adaptive Theme", which automatically adjusts the keyboard to the colours of the respective app screen.

Keyboard layout

On the Samsung keyboard, a different keyboard layout can be selected depending on the language; on the German keyboard, in addition to the standard keyboard, the QWERTY layout or the 3x4 keyboard can be changed.

Keyboard Size

The height of the Samsung keyboard can be minimally adjusted, and the keyboard can also be oriented to the left or right side of the screen for one-handed input.
