Restore deleted photo

Deleted photos and videos can be restored to your Samsung device, provided that the recycle bin is activated in the Gallery app and the deletion process is not older than 15 days. Only then can deleted photos be restored.

Android 10 (One UI 2.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Gallery -App
Step 2:  Open the  menu
Step 3:  Tap on  Recycle bin
Step 4:  Tap and hold the desired  Picture
Step 5:  Select all other  images  to be restored
Step 6:  Tap on  Restore

  3. Tap on Recycle bin
  4. Tap and hold the desired Picture
  5. Select all other images to be restored
  6. Tap on Restore

Empty the Recycle bin

Photos and videos in the Recycle Bin of the Gallery app are automatically deleted after 15 days (30 days on Android 10/One UI 2). You can empty the Recycle Bin as well as delete individual files in it. If the photos are deleted from the Recycle Bin, they can no longer be restored.

Step 3:  Tap on  Recycle bin
Step 4:  Tap on  Empty
Step 5:  Confirm with  Empty Recycle bin

Recycle bin

in the gallery app on the samsung device you can optionally activate a Recycle bin. photos and videos that should be deleted are first moved to the Recycle bin where they will be deleted automatically 15 days later. the advantage, accidentally deleted photos can be restored.

Step 4:  Enable or disable  Recycle bin
