Factory reset
The "Erase all data" function resets the Xiaomi smartphone to factory settings or factory default. All data is irrevocably removed from the internal memory, including:
- The Google Account (removed from the device)
- System and app data (and the respective settings)
- Installed Apps
- Music, Videos, Photos
- All user data
- Open the Settings
- Tap on About phone
- Tap on Factory reset
- Tap on Erase all data
Reset WiFi, mobile data & Bluetooth
This function resets all network settings on the Xiaomi smartphone, including:
- WiFi
- Mobile data
- Bluetooth
Note: If the network connection settings are reset, all associated data will be deleted and cannot be restored.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connection & sharing
- Tap on Reset Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and Bluetooth
- Tap on Reset settings
- Enter the current pattern, PIN or password and follow the instructions on screen
Reset camera settings
The Xiaomi smartphone's camera app offers a wide range of settings. if a user doesn't get the results they want or hope for, all camera settings can be restored to default.
When restored to default settings, existing photos and videos remain saved and are not deleted.
- Open the Camera app
- Open the menu
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Restore default settings
- Confirm with OK
