Wi-Fi assistant

If the Wi-Fi is activated on the Xiaomi smartphone, the device will automatically connect to another network if the WLAN connection is poor. Step 2: Tap on Wi-Fi
Step 3: Tap on  Wi-Fi assistant

  5. Tap on Save

Change Wi-Fi password

Share Wi-Fi password

If the Xiaomi device is connected to a Wi-Fi network, we can share the password so that, for example, friends can connect to the network more quickly. A QR code is created on the Xiaomi smartphone, which can then be scanned by the device to be connected.

Step 1: Open the Settings
Step 2: Tap on Wi-Fi
Step 3: Tap the connected network
  1. Open the Settings

  3. Tap the connected network

Turn on/off Wi-Fi

The domestic or public WLAN offers the possibility to load larger amounts of data. However, those who do not need their WLAN can also save battery power by switching off the function. If a WLAN connection has not yet been established, WLAN must first be switched on.

Note: On the Xiaomi smartphone, WLAN can be enabled or disabled in the Quick Settings or General Settings.
