If the developer options under Android have been turned on, USB debugging can be enabled. This feature is necessary if the user wants to root his smartphone or get a deeper system access. USB debugging is also required by the MyPhoneExplorer program to synchronize contacts, for example.

Note: USB debugging should only be enabled when it is used.
