Huawei How to configure personal hotspot
Huawei 2478You can customize your personal hotspot by giving the hotspot a new name and password. This means also more security and will deny access of strangers. If someone wants to connect to your hotspot, they will have to ask you for your password first. You can also set up a maximum of connections and a shutdown timer for inactive connections.

- Open the settings
- Tap on Mobile network
- Tap on Tethering & portable hotspot
- Tap on Personal hotspot
- Tap on Configure hotspot
- Activate Show advanced options
- Set a hotspot name, a password, change the encryption type or the max connections allowed and confirm with OK
