The mobile hotspot on the Huawei-smartphone allows bin to eight connections, but a maximum limit can also be set to keep a better eye on the connected devices and data consumption.

Maximum allowed connections -  Open the  Settings
Maximum allowed connections -  Tap on  Mobile network
Maximum allowed connections -  Tap on  Tethering & portable hotspot
Maximum allowed connections -  Tap on  Personal hotspot
Maximum allowed connections -  Tap on  Configure hotspot
Maximum allowed connections -  Enable  Show advanced options
Maximum allowed connections -  Tap on  Max connections allowed
Maximum allowed connections -  Set a  maximum of allowed connections
Maximum allowed connections -  Confirm with  OK
