Facebook's Messenger is a good example of the "Draw over other apps" function. here, the app on the LG smartphone has the authorization to show itself on top of other apps. the form in which this is done depends on the app itself. apps can show themselves on top of other apps with a small pop-up, a video player or, as in the example, a round circle with profile photos of the individual chats.

By default, apps on the LG device are allowed to show themselves over others, but this can also be disabled.
