Oppo AX5 Phone does not ring or vibrate

Phone does not ring or vibrate when an incoming call or text message comes through. Ring and vibrate both turned on in settings and volume turned up. The only way to know if a call is coming through is to be looking at the phone when a call is being made. The phone only rings when on the cars bluetooth.  Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
