Multilingual keyboards always use the system language by default, even if other languages have been added. The order of the added languages can be rearranged, which also allows you to define a new default language for the keyboard.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  General management
Step 3:  Tap on  Language and input
Step 4:  Tap on  On-screen keyboard
Step 5:  Tap on  Samsung Keyboard
Step 6:  Tap on  Languages and types
Step 7:  Open the  menu
Step 8:  Tap on  Reorder
Step 9:  Tap and hold desired  Language
Step 10:  Move the language to the desired  position
