By default, a SIM card is delivered with a previously defined PIN. In the rarest of cases you can remember it well. Therefore, it is useful to be able to change this on the Huawei smartphone.

Note: If the PIN was entered incorrectly three times in succession, you need the eight-digit SIM PUK to unlock the SIM card. We find this in the SIM card documents, next to the PIN.

Change SIM PIN -  Open the  settings
Change SIM PIN -  Tap on  Security
Change SIM PIN -  Tap on  More settings
Change SIM PIN -  Tap on  Encryption and credentials
Change SIM PIN -  Tap on  Set SIM1 lock
Change SIM PIN -  Tap on  Change SIM PIN
Change SIM PIN -  Choose  SIM 1  or  SIM 2
Change SIM PIN -  Type in your current  PIN  and confirm with  OK
Change SIM PIN -  Type in your new  PIN  and confirm with  OK
Change SIM PIN -  Confirm new  SIM PIN  and tap on  OK
  1. Open the settings
  2. Tap on Security
  3. Tap on More settings
  4. Tap on Encryption and credentials
  5. Tap on Set SIM1 lock
  6. Tap on Change SIM PIN
  7. Choose SIM 1 or SIM 2
  8. Type in your current PIN and confirm with OK
  9. Type in your new PIN and confirm with OK
  10. Confirm new SIM PIN and tap on OK
