Samsung How to Silence Notifications from Individual Apps

usually apps are displayed both audibly and visually on the samsung device. we can also choose to mute notifications of an app. no sound and no icon on the lock screen. the notification is only visible in the notification field (status bar). in addition, we can also choose to display it minimized.
