Save Photos to SD Card in Open Camera auf Android
If your phone constantly warns about low storage even though you have an SD card inserted, the camera app is likely still writing new photos to internal memory. Open Camera treats this as a separate setting from the stock camera, so switching your default gallery app or moving old files does not change where new shots are saved.
To fix it, go to Open Camera ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Activate or deactivate Save to SD card. Turning this on tells the app to write every new photo directly to the card instead of the phone.
This only affects images captured after you change the setting. Photos already stored on the phone stay where they are until you move or delete them manually.
Skip this setting if your SD card is slower than internal storage, since burst shots or high-resolution photos can lag or fail to save on older or low-quality cards. In that case, keep photos on internal storage and move them later once you confirm the card handles write speeds reliably.
