Terms of use

Subject matter. These terms of use govern the relationship between the platform operators (hereinafter “Operator”) and registered as well as non-registered users (hereinafter “Users”).

Platform purpose. The platform is for the free exchange of information, help, and discussions around technology, smartphones, and related topics.

No entitlement. There is no legal entitlement to registration, use of the platform, or permanent availability of specific features.

Registration. Active participation (creating posts, topics, likes, etc.) requires creating a user account. Information provided at registration must be truthful.

Account security. Users must keep their credentials confidential and protect them from third-party access. If misuse is suspected, the Operator must be informed without delay.

One account per person. Each user may maintain only a single user account (primary account). Creating multiple accounts (“sock puppets”) without express moderation approval is prohibited.

Respectful interaction. A respectful, factual, and friendly tone applies in the community. Insults, discrimination, hate speech, or exclusion are not tolerated.

Prohibited content. It is strictly prohibited to publish the following content:

• Spam, unsolicited advertising links, affiliate links, or commercial self-promotion without prior agreement
• Copyrighted material without appropriate usage rights
• Malware, links to phishing sites, or guides to illegal activities (e.g. cracking, piracy)
• Content harmful to minors, glorifying violence, or pornographic content

Post quality. Posts should be created in the appropriate category. Before opening a new topic, use the search function to avoid duplicates.

Allowed formats. Users may upload screenshots and documents in the file formats enabled by the system (e.g. .png, .jpg, .webp, .pdf, .log). Uploading executable files (.exe, .apk, etc.) or archives (.zip, .rar) is prohibited.

Privacy & rights. Users guarantee that uploaded files are free of third-party rights and do not contain sensitive personal data (such as others’ addresses, passwords, or financial data).

Automatic processing. Uploaded images are automatically compressed by the system and stripped of metadata (e.g. EXIF GPS data).

House rules. The Operator and appointed moderators exercise digital house rights. They may edit, move, hide, or delete content that violates these terms.

Sanctions. In case of violations of these terms, the following measures may be taken:

• Formal warning
• Deduction of community points / demotion in the rank system
• Temporary posting ban (1 to 30 days)
• Permanent account ban and exclusion from the platform

Automated systems. To detect spam and abuse, we use automated filters, bot detection, and a community reporting system.

Grant of rights. By creating a post, topic, or upload, the user grants the Operator a simple, transferable right, unlimited in time and territory, to make such content publicly available and display it in the course of forum operation.

Account deletion & anonymization (Art. 17 GDPR).

• Users may delete their account at any time via profile settings.
• Upon account deletion, all personal profile data (email, name, avatar, IP associations) is fully and permanently deleted.
• Retention of forum posts: Public discussion topics and posts remain in the forum to preserve overall context and thread readability (legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). They are fully anonymized (unlink from the profile, displayed as “Anonymized user”).

Interaction systems. To maintain forum activity, quickly answer unanswered questions, and bootstrap the community, automated AI-supported user profiles may be used on the platform.

Liability for AI content. Automatically generated content is intended to spark discussion and provide initial orientation. It does not replace professional review.

User content. The Operator does not adopt user-posted content as its own and assumes no warranty for its accuracy, completeness, or currency.

Availability. The Operator strives for high platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted usability or protection against data loss.
