I am trying to charge my phone and it is making a loud clicking noise.  The phone will no turn on and the charge button is still red after 30 minutes.

    If I understand and imagine this correctly, the loading will cause a short circuit.

    I think the battery is defective.

    You should also be careful and not leave the device unattended.
