Screen calibrator malfunctioning

The phone usually freezes whenever am using it.most times it doesn't respond to touches and it opens apps automatically by itself even without touching it.however,after rebooting it ,it works normally for few minutes before it freezes again or it opens any apps or pages I did not even touch.
