voicemail in setup keeps reverting to *86

After spending an hour with my AT&T vendor, we determined that the Blackview does not save my voicemail number in Setup, but instead always reverts back to *86.  I have rebooted the phone multiple times.  Any more suggestions before I replace this?

    Hello Clicketycat!

    Have you already tried to clear all app /system caches?

    If that doesn't help, you could try a reset.

    If the error persists, it must be an error of the current version.
