CAT advertises this phone as LTE compatible. The CAT agent (online chat) told me it supports VoLTE, and VoWiFi as well, if the network supports it. I use this phone in Australia (Vodafone), and also used it in Dubai (Etisalat) and in India (Vodafone). All these countries has VoLTE support, as I verified it on other phones, (samung) showing the VoLTE icon, except CAT S52. I dont understand the logic. The real question is, irrespective of the network support the phone menu should have an option to turn on/off VoLTE support, isnt it? This is no where to be seen. So is the case with VoWiFi. Any CAT S52 users out here? Do you guys get to see the VoLTE or VoWiFi menus?

    Hello nevinjohn. On Android 10 the setting has been removed from most smartphones. For what reason, I can't really tell you.

    But you can use the GSM code to call the hidden settings:

    1. Open the phone app
    2. Enter the GSM code *#*#4636#*#* as phone number and "call" them.
    3. Now you should see options to enable/disable VoLTE or Wi-Fi calling.

    Is the Android 10 update released yet? I am still running on Andriod 9, CAT keeps promising 'soon' but its almost an year. Regarding the code, yes under phone info I can see the options for VoLTE, Video Call, WiFi Calling and EAB/Presence - But the key to toggle these options is disabled.. I cannot turn it on manually!

    The features like VoLTE or WiFi Calling must be supported by the provider, is this the case?

    About the update to Android 10:

    According to our information CAT has promised the update, but if it is not available (even after one year) you can only wait.

    VoLTE is supported by all these providers. Like I mentioned, samsung phones shoes VoLTE in all of these neworks, but not CAT S52!
