    Hey jpt,

according to our information, you can only move data such as photos, videos or documents to the SD card, for that you need to use a file manager.

what very weird is that other system folder at the bottom in the second screen shot is showing as 16.83 gb I just moved all the video files 4.15 gb to my laptop now that system folder show 20.98gb.

Any ideas what is going on and what i can do to resolve it ?

    Hey jpt,

you're right. It's a bit weird. Since it is exactly the size of the moved videos, it could be that somehow a backup was created. Have you already tried to clean up the storage via the system? Please check if this works for you:

no it didn't work, the cleaning only seems to work on the files that are on the SD card. I did manage to delete the some files in FilesbyGoogle trash folder which reduced the internal storage to 20.72. So I guess I found how to reach some of the folders on the internal storage. But I can't seem to find any large amounts of data in the folders that I can view. I also assume it is also making some backup, but when i search for backups in the setting I just get a google app which I never set up. Do you have any more ideas ?

    Hi jpt,

I do not have another idea for the time being. The only thing would be a Google backup and then to factory reset the phone to check if the storage space is still in use.
